Rep. Katie Porter, D-Calif., was judged harshly by Twitter after text messages emerged Thursday of her berating Sasha Georgiades, a former staffer and military veteran, for allegedly infecting her with the coronavirus.
- “This former employee was not fired,” Porter’s office said in a statement to Fox News. “Congresswoman Porter was informing her that she would work from home for the remaining three weeks of her fellowship.”
